The Kansas Preservation Alliance hosts an annual preservation conference that brings current issues and topics in preservation to architects, historians, preservationists and any history enthusiast. These conferences count as AIA continuing ed credits.
The 2015 Kansas Preservation Conference
Stone Masonry Construction and Preservation, October 7th and 8th in Manhattan
The two-day conference will provide tours of Manhattan and the surrounding area. Keynote speakers Tom Parish and Jack Hofman will speak about their own work with stone construction in the Flint Hills. Educational sessions will cover a range of topics from experts in the field.
